Scholarships are awarded at the National level of ICF. Scholarship information can be found here. Locally, at Branch 200, we provide a scholarship of $500 for any graduating 8th grader of our local parish school, Madonna del Sasso, who is planning on continuing his/her Catholic education by attending either Palma High School or Notre Dame High School here in Salinas, CA. The requirements to submit an application for the local scholarship are: Students must compose an essay of 250-300 words on a theme chosen by the Scholarship Committee and provide 3 letters of reference (1 from Pastor, 1 from a teacher and one from another adult - not a family member). Scholarship applications are reviewed by the scholarship committee and presented to membership for final approval. Scholarship recipients are notified during the graduation ceremonies and are then invited to join Branch 200 for dinner with their family at their monthly meeting in September. 2008 scholarship information can be found here: Scholarship Details Letter to Parents 2008 scholarship recipients:
